Today is my Birthday

Hi Everyone.
I am writing because today is my birthday and I just found this site. Today was the aircraft and car show up at Candelight Farms airport in New Milford. I know this because I now live in New Milford despite being raised in Milton. The cars were beautiful and the airplanes were ok too. There were Ferraris, Porches, MGs, Alfas, Austin-Martins, Jaguars, Muscle cars, and a Rambler. Also present were some race cars, a Formula V, an old midget racer that was for sale, and a Chevy from the beach racing days in Daytona Beach, FL and three Morgans. All the machinery was looking fine under a foggy sky at the top of the hill which Candelight airport is situated. The fog precluded anyone from arriving by plane and still there were several Piper Cubs, a Waco and a Pitts that live in a hangar there, and a DeHavilland Beaver. Milton also has connections to a rich aviation heritage and at one point had it’s own airport located at the end of Flat Rocks Road.
My question is: Why doesn’t Milton have a car show? It may a good thing for our little town and we can raise some money for functions or charity.
Someday, I hope to be back to my home town but for now, I’ll write and check back from time to time.
Have a great day.
