black furry animal in the woods
my grandson and i saw a very black and furry animal in the woods off seeley road. We didn’t get a good look, but it had a fairly long tail and scampered on all fours. It was about 18-24 inches high. I don’t think bears have significant tails, although it seemed to move like a bear cub. It didn’t have a white stripe and didn’t emit any smells so i don’t think it was a skunk. it was definitely black, so i don’t think it was a gopher etc. any ideas?
