A June Coffee House
JUNE 7 – At the semi-annual meeting I mentioned that The Litchfield Writers Guild is holding its Third Annual Coffee at The Litchfield Community Center. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., readings start at 6:30 p.m. and after an intermission somewhere in the middle, will conclude at 8:30. Guild writers will be reading original, unpublished work ranging from truth to fiction, from humor to horror. Something for everyone. I would be most pleased to see some of our Miltonites attend. I’ll bet you’d have a great time. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. It’s a different sort of an evening and a cheap night out. Although at post time it isn’t solidified, I hope to have a young prodigy playing the center’s Steinway piano with music from his repertory from 6-6:30 and during intermission.
