Illustrators Exhibition

I’ll be joining several local picture book illustrators (Lane Smith, Mercer Mayer, Nancy Tafuri, Carl Chaiet, and Victoria Chess) for an exhibit at the Washington Art Association from May 27 – June 18th.

The opening on the 27th from 3-5pm will include a book signing and spontaneous illustrating of a wall of the gallery space (known as ‘graffiti’ back in Brooklyn, but genteel art in CT).

Please drop by if you get a chance; should be fun.

Holly and I attended the illustrators exhibit. The place was packed with people and we met several of the authors, including Mo. We saw several Miltonites while there. The spirit was festive with much of interest to study in the large building. Holly “sort of” agreed to go on the 27th, but got quite excited about it, once there. I can add that there is a ton of talent in northwest Connecticut. We are very happy to be a part of this wonderful community.
